Long live Taylor Swift’s generosity.
On Tuesday, Dec. 23, Feeding America confirmed the pop megastar made a $1 million donation.
“We’re grateful to @taylorswift for standing with families facing hunger. Her generosity reminds us what’s possible when we come together to help ensure full tables this holiday season and beyond,” an Instagram post caption read.
Alongside the caption, Feeding America shared an image featuring the orange glitter and mint green coloring Swift, 36, used for The Life of a Showgirl. Also featured was a statement from Feeding America’s chief executive officer Claire Babineaux-Fontenot.
“We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift’s $1 million gift to Feeding America,” she wrote in the statement. “This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we unite to end hunger.

Swift is no stranger to giving back to those in need.
Throughout her career, she has continuously donated to many causes, ranging from orchestras to fans who need support.
In October, the “Opalite” performer made a quiet donation to the parents of a 2-year-old girl named Lilah, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer after suffering a seizure at just 18 months old.
For months, Lilah’s mom Katelynn Smoot has shared her daughter’s story on social media, and the toddler’s family had been fundraising for her treatment via GoFundMe since March.
Swift entered the picture when Katelynn shared a video to her TikTok account — dubbed “Stand with Lilah” — showing how her 2-year-old called the “Elizabeth Taylor” singer her “friend” while watching a video of her on her iPad.
“This might be my fault,” Katelynn teased in the video, which also featured clips of the mom-of-two pregnant with Lilah while attending Swift’s Eras Tour.
The proud mom noted that “Lilah’s name was originally going to be Willow,” referencing Swift’s 2020 track by the same name.
“We were set on that name my whole pregnancy but ultimately ended on Lilah,” she said.
Katelynn continued, “I listened to Taylor my whole pregnancy and then birthed a mini Swiftie. Lilah loves Taylor’s music and during her cancer treatment she always found joy in it. I hope Lilah gets through this diagnosis and gets to one day go to a Taylor Swift concert in person.”
The mom added that she knew her daughter would “love” the show.
More than one week later, Swift seemingly got a hold of Lilah’s video, and the musician made a $100,000 donation on GoFundMe.
“Sending the biggest hug to my friend, Lilah!” Swift wrote underneath her donation. “Love, Taylor.”
The donation brought the family nearly $60,000 over their $100,000 fundraising goal.
