Jennifer Lopez is upset with Ben Affleck for meeting his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, while they’re having marriage troubles.
According to Radar Online, J-Lo even warned Jennifer Garner to stay away.
If you’ve been following the ‘Bennifer’ drama, you know it’s been all over the place. Recently, Jennifer Lopez canceled her tour dates to spend time with her family, hinting that something is wrong.
Ben Affleck has moved out of their house in Beverly Hills, and reports say he’s not happy with how things are going.
There were rumors that Ben missed J-Lo while they were apart, but when they met last weekend, they didn’t show much affection.
Now, Radar Online says J-Lo is upset because Ben met up with Jennifer Garner.
Affleck and Garner got divorced in 2015, but they still have a strong, supportive relationship. It seems Garner has been trying to help him through his current problems.
But even though Garner means well, sources say Jennifer Lopez isn’t happy about it.
“Everyone knows Ben and Jen stayed close after their divorce. He talks to Jen about everything, even his problems with J Lo,” an insider reportedly told Life & Style.
“J Lo doesn’t like that Ben goes to his sensible, down-to-earth ex-wife for advice and support. She doesn’t want Jen’s input.”
The source also said, “J Lo didn’t directly tell Jen to stay away — both women know their boundaries — but she did tell Ben that his ex should keep her distance and not get involved in their problems. Ben then passed the message to Jen.”
It’s said that Garner doesn’t want Affleck to go back to old habits of substance abuse and gambling. Radar reports that she thinks supporting his well-being is more important than what J-Lo thinks of her.
“Jen can’t just watch from the sidelines. That’s not who she is,” the insider said.
“She’s putting everything aside to make sure Ben doesn’t go down a bad path again. At the end of the day, Ben is still the father of their kids — and she’ll do whatever she can to help him.”
While Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez haven’t said anything official about their marriage, it seems like things might not be going well.
