There’s been a lot of talk lately about Jennifer Lopez’s personal and professional life. The singer and actress has been in the spotlight since early May.
Now, more celebrities are sharing their thoughts on Jennifer Lopez. Keep reading to find out more.
Meghan McCain, a conservative commentator and former co-host of The View, recently shared her opinion on Jennifer Lopez. McCain talked about the negative comments surrounding Lopez over the past few weeks.
Jennifer Lopez has been facing intense media attention due to rumors of her possible divorce from husband Ben Affleck. These rumors grew stronger when she canceled her upcoming ‘This Is Me… Live’ tour.
On her podcast, Citizen McCain, Meghan McCain said, “I actually feel bad now because I feel like we’re reaching a point where there’s bullying happening to J.Lo, and I don’t want to add to that.” Despite this, she shared her own experience, saying, “She just is a deeply unpleasant person.”
Meghan McCain talked about her experience with 54-year-old Jennifer Lopez when Lopez was a guest on The View. McCain said Lopez was “not nice.” She added, “Whatever, you don’t always have to be so nice. It was just surprising because people like Kim Kardashian couldn’t be more delightful. Also, when you’re coming on a show for a 10-minute segment… just fake it ’till you make it for 10 f**king minutes.”
McCain also claimed that Lopez and her legal team had a TikTok video from McCain’s podcast Citizen McCain removed after it briefly went viral.
“But then it got put back up. She had it taken down for terms of violation for bullying… Allegedly!” McCain shared.
The video was published in April and featured McCain talking about her negative interactions with Jennifer Lopez.
“I have a bad J.Lo story too. She came on The View many times as a guest. Not my favorite. Not my favorite,” Meghan McCain said in a viral clip that has over 2 million views. “Some of the biggest celebrities I’ve ever met, giant celebrities, have maybe one publicist with them. Jennifer Lopez has more people traveling with her than the president. I’m not kidding.”
She also shared an unusual detail about one of Lopez’s employees.
“I’m going to get in so much trouble for this, but my big memory of J.Lo is there was a person whose entire job was to hold up a mirror with lights while they were touching her up backstage,” she recalled. “I remember thinking, ‘That poor man. What a weird job. He probably went to art school or something and had dreams of being a musician, and he’s like, ‘I hold J.Lo’s light.’”
Rumors about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are growing as the couple has quietly put their $60.8 million Beverly Hills home on the market. They bought the house just a year ago, in May 2023.
This news came right after rumors started that the couple might be splitting up. In May, a source said they are “continuing to take space from each other.” Another source close to the couple said they were “going through some problems.”
Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021 after twenty years. They got married in a small Las Vegas ceremony with just their kids and then had a bigger ceremony in Georgia later on. Despite the breakup rumors, the couple hasn’t commented on them and even appeared together at Ben Affleck’s daughter Violet’s high school graduation.
