You won’t believe what Barbra Streisand just threatened to do if Trump wins in 2024!

Barbra Streisand has strongly criticized former President Donald Trump again. She sang about him in her song “Don’t Lie to Me” and now she’s calling him a “tyrant.” She even said she would leave the United States if he gets re-elected in 2024.

Streisand thinks Trump is unintelligent and doesn’t know much. She talked about this on the Stephen Colbert show, saying she couldn’t stay in the country if he becomes president again.

This isn’t the first time she’s talked about leaving the country because of Trump. Many celebrities said similar things when Trump won in 2016, but not many actually left.

Streisand, who is 81 years old and famous for her roles in movies like “Funny Girl,” also criticized Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again,” saying America was already great before he became president.

She’s been a long-time supporter of the Democratic Party and has raised money for them. She doesn’t hide her strong dislike for Trump and has called him names like “the Liar in Chief” and “the Groper in Chief.”

In 2018, Streisand released her 36th album called “Walls,” which was inspired by Trump, who used to be a reality TV star before becoming president.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Barbra Streisand talked about why she wrote the song “Don’t Lie to Me.” She said she was feeling very sad and heartbroken about what was happening in the country. Streisand said she couldn’t tolerate what was going on, especially Donald Trump’s actions against democracy, our institutions, and the founders of the United States. She believes America is in a serious struggle, a battle for its soul.

Her album, which was nominated for a Grammy, is a tribute to her feelings about Trump’s leadership. It includes songs like “Don’t Lie to Me,” which she wrote because she was upset by the news she heard. Streisand said it made her sick to hear so many lies and crazy things.

She said she can’t stand being lied to, and she doesn’t think the country should be either. Streisand remarked that she couldn’t understand how Trump could lie without feeling guilty, and she added a humorous remark about guilt not being something Trump experiences.

Explaining why she’s compelled to be politically involved, Streisand sounds off on the friction between politicians and artists in her 2023 memoir, “My Name is Barbra.”

“Why do people get so mad when artists speak up?” Barbra Streisand wonders. She says artists can act like a country’s conscience. Their art shows us what’s happening in society and sometimes challenges us to notice things we might want to ignore. They can speak for people who don’t have a voice and say things others won’t.

Streisand believes art is a threat to tyrants and dictators because it can criticize their actions.

Even though she used her strong voice to speak out, it didn’t change how people voted.

Before the 2016 elections, the famous actress from “The Prince of Tides” said on the Australian TV show “60 Minutes,” “He doesn’t use facts. I can’t believe it. If things don’t go well, I might come to your country [Australia], if you’ll have me, or go to Canada.”

But Barbra Streisand wasn’t the only famous person who said they would leave the U.S. if Trump became president.

According to The Wrap, comedian George Lopez joked that he would go back to Mexico: “If [Trump] wins, he won’t have to worry about immigration, we’ll all go back.”

Chelsea Handler also said she would leave, but she changed her mind the day after Trump beat Hillary Clinton. She said her staff reminded her that people like her needed to speak out more, and leaving would be giving up.

Other celebrities had more creative ideas for leaving.

Comedian and talk show host Jon Stewart said, “I might get in a rocket and go to another planet, because clearly this planet’s gone crazy.”

And Cher, tweeted, “IF HE WERE TO BE ELECTED, IM MOVING TO JUPITER.”

After enduring what she called “four years in a dark hole,” the star of the 1983 movie “Yentl,” Barbra Streisand, spoke to People magazine about President Joe Biden, saying, “The country is definitely moving in the right direction.” In a 2021 interview, she expressed admiration for Biden, praising his compassion, honesty, integrity, and reliance on facts over fiction.

Streisand criticized former President Donald Trump for what she sees as damaging the country’s reputation during his term. She wrote in an essay for Variety that Trump’s exaggerated claims and lack of knowledge hurt America’s standing globally.

Now, Streisand is worried about the upcoming elections, especially with Trump as the leading candidate for the Republicans. On a recent episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the singer and actress reiterated her strong dislike for Trump, whom she previously called “stupid” and “ill-informed.”

Streisand emphasized that she couldn’t bear to live in a country led by Trump again. She mentioned she might move to England if that happens because she likes England.

“Trump never takes responsibility for his actions. Instead, he blames others when he makes mistakes. Even after being impeached, he hasn’t learned from it because his fellow Republicans protect him from consequences,” Streisand wrote.

“We need a new America that is clean, respectful, and focused on truth. Only then can America truly become great again.”

If Streisand decides to move to Canada, she might need to do it soon because some Republicans want to build a wall along the Canadian border.
