Lieutenant Dan has been trending online after it was revealed that he refuses to leave his small sailboat, even though Hurricane Milton is on the way.
Dan, whose real name is Joseph Malinowski, stayed on his boat during the storm and ended up getting a deal with Kick. Adin Ross also offered him a new boat and a contract that will pay him thousands of dollars each month, plus a $100,000 bonus upfront.

Even though this has been a big change for Malinowski, his daughter is worried and doesn’t want him to have these opportunities because she thinks it could lead to an early death.
She posted a rant on social media about her dad’s sudden fame, and the video has now gone viral.
“Lieutenant Dan was doing fine without all that money,” she said. “All you TikTok famous people are making him blow up, and he’s going to be gone before he can even enjoy that boat and everything. Just look at him now—he’s high in all these videos.”
“I’m his daughter, and I’ve been watching over him for 10 years to make sure he stays alive. Now, he’s going to get all this attention and money, and I’m worried it might lead to his death.”
“But you all are going to send him to an early grave by making him famous and giving him all this money and offers. You don’t even know what you’re doing.”

Lieutenant Dan’s Daughter Thinks Her Dad Is Being Used
Lt. Dan’s daughter has also accused the people who have offered her dad all these opportunities of using him to become more famous themselves.
“You don’t really know him,” she said.
“Nobody actually cares about him; you’re just using him to get famous and to make yourselves look good. But nobody really cares.”
We’ll have to wait and see how things turn out for Lieutenant Dan. However, he already started off on a bad note when he casually used the N-word during his first Kick stream.
