In the early hours of New Year’s Day, Victoria was found unresponsive on the 14th floor of the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel in California by an individual.

“We are deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on Jan. 1, 2026,” a hotel representative told Page Six in a statement. “Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time. The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation.”

Initially, the individual believed Victoria was passed out drunk and alerted hotel staffers.

However, after paramedics were called at around 2:52 a.m. local time, Victoria was pronounced dead on the scene. She was 34.

On Jan. 1, a spokesperson for the fire department confirmed to Page Six that “bystanders were given instructions for CPR according to CAD records.”

Authorities with the San Francisco Police Department then told the Daily Mail that they arrived at the hotel at 3:14 a.m.

At the time, police said they did not suspect any foul play and no drug paraphernalia was found on the scene. There was also no indication that her death was a suicide.

It is also unclear if Victoria — who lived in San Antonio, Texas — was a guest at the hotel or how she got onto the 14th floor.

Although no drug paraphernalia was found on the scene, authorities called the report in as “code 3 for the overdose, color change.”

However, a dispatch audio gave further insight into a possible cause of death as the call made by authorities came in as a “code 3 for the overdose, color change.”

An overdose with a “color change” usually refers to cyanosis, which is a “discoloration of the skin, lips or fingernails caused by a lack of oxygen in the blood,” per the Cleveland Clinic.

Before her death, Victoria had a short stint as an actress in her dad’s movie “Men In Black II” and “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada” in 2005 and “The Homesman” in 2014.

Although she stepped away from a career in Hollywood, she supported her dad on several red carpets.

Victoria also had several run-ins with the law. According to court documents obtained by PageSix, she was arrested at least twice in 2025.

In April, she was cuffed for obstructing a peace officer, using/being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a narcotic controlled substance, to which she pleaded not guilty.

She was arrested again in June for domestic battery and domestic violence/elder abuse, to which she also pleaded not guilty.

Additionally, Victoria was arrested for theft of $50 to $500 in San Antonio, Texas, back in June 2011. The charge was later dismissed, according to court records.
