Leavesden Studios in Watford, Hertfordshire have suspended the filming of the upcoming £150million Spider-Man: Brand New Day and may be pushed back for weeks.
His father, Dominic Holland, confirmed during a charity dinner in London that his son could be sidelined “for a while”.
Mr Holland was in attendance at the Mayfair dinner and was pictured next to American actress and his bride-to-be, Zendaya Coleman.
The British actor left the charity event earlier after feeling unwell.
The upcoming Spider-Man blockbuster is set to hit the big screens in July 2026 and it is currently not yet known whether the injury will impact the release date.
