Snoop Dogg Supports Daughter Cori Broadus After Death of Her 10-Month-Old Baby Girl

Snoop Dogg is supporting his daughter Cori Broadus following the death of her baby girl, Codi Dreaux.

The rapper, 54, addressed the tragic news of his 10-month-old granddaughter’s passing in an Instagram post on Saturday, Jan. 31, just hours after Cori publicly announced Codi’s death.

Sharing a photo of himself with Cori, 26, and his sons, Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28, Snoop penned the caption, “💖🙏🏾.”

Cordell shared a tribute to his sister on his Instagram Stories, “Lil sis, we got you forever,” as he reposted the family photo.

Earlier that day, Cori announced the tragic news that her 10-month-old daughter Codi died on her Instagram Stories.

“Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi 🪽,” she wrote, while sharing a black and white photo of herself holding her baby.

Cori announced she was pregnant with a daughter in December 2024. She then revealed in February 2025 in a post on Instagram that Codi was born early at six months.

“I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed…,” Cori wrote at the time. “Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me 🙏.”

Cori went on to share that she delivered her baby via C-section after doctors told her she was developing HELLP syndrome, which stands for Hemolysis (the process of red blood cell destruction), Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelets.

She ended up spending 10 months in the NICU before arriving home in early January.

In a Jan. 6 Instagram post, Cori wrote, “She’s home. 🤍,” alongside a snapshot of her and Codi snuggling together on her bed.

“Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all. 🕊️✨,” she concluded.

On Saturday, Jan. 31, Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, shared a candid message on his Instagram Stories following the announcement of their daughter’s death.

“I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you,” he wrote, alongside a photo of him holding his daughter.
