Salma Hayek is showing her love for her stepson on his special day.
On Friday, October 11, the 58-year-old actress celebrated her stepson, Augustin “Augie” James, as he turned 18. She shared sweet throwback photos and fun family pictures on Instagram. Augie is the son of Hayek’s husband, François-Henri Pinault, and supermodel Linda Evangelista.
To start her post, Hayek included a recent picture of them enjoying a sunset boat ride. In the photo, she hugs Augie while he smiles widely for the camera.
“Happy 18th birthday, Augie,” she wrote in the caption, joking, “You’re officially a full-grown man who just became legal at least in Mexico and France. 😱.”
She added, “Your kind heart is like a healing touch in our lives because you bring warmth and light to everyone around you. Keep spreading laughter and joy. We love you so much ❤️❤️❤️.”
The post also includes a mix of family photos, featuring her husband Pinault and their daughter Valentina. There are also pictures with Linda Evangelista and her two children with Pinault, daughter Mathilde and son François.
In the comments on Hayek’s post, Evangelista, who also posted a sweet birthday message for Augie, said, “1️⃣8️⃣ years of 💞.”
Recently, when celebrating Valentina’s birthday on Saturday, September 21, Hayek shared some lovely memories with her 17-year-old daughter on Instagram, mentioning that it was Valentina’s “last birthday at home.”
In another special touch, each part of the tribute has a matching border that says “Happy birthday Vale” in both English and Spanish, since the teen speaks three languages, including French. The border also has several hearts.
“My baby’s last birthday at home (for now),” Hayek wrote, sharing that she is already feeling sad about the thought of being apart.
“She makes me laugh all day, teaches me so many things, keeps me motivated, inspires me in so many ways, and makes me want to dance, sing, and cook. She makes life so exciting,” she said. “I love you sooooooooo much, mi Vale 💋🙏♥️.”
