Rosie O’Donnell‘s recent body transformation has left her stunned!
On Tuesday, Aug. 12, The View alum, 63, shared her surprise in an Instagram post after discovering that she’d dropped a clothing size after trying on clothes at a store, following her recent weight loss.
“Ok, so [I] went shopping to buy a comfy lounge wear outfit for my 22-hour flight to Australia,” O’Donnell explained in the caption, while sharing a photo of herself sporting a black top and matching pants in the changing room.
“[I] was undecided as I can’t see myself in this new smaller body,” she continued. “[My friends] took this photo of me in the dressing room — I am shocked I’m a 12 — #mounjaro is a life saver 🥹❤️🇮🇪.”

O’Donnell has openly discussed her weight loss journey on social media. In January 2023, she shared on TikTok that she had started taking Mounjaro, an FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes, which helps with weight loss by reducing appetite and improving how the body breaks down sugar and fat.

In March, the Emmy Award winner shared in an update on TikTok that she’d “lost more weight” since taking Mounjaro, following her recent move to Ireland with her 12-year-old child Clay.
“I’ve lost more weight. I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight,” said O’Donnell. “But it’s also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don’t have a chef now. It’s me cooking for Clay and me.”

The comedian said she went shopping in Dublin in search of clothes that “fit better” after slimming down. “I’m one of those people who always had a weight issue and now that I’m a size large — instead of an XL or a XXL — I find it shocking,” said O’Donnell. “I really do.”
O’Donnell’s latest post comes after she showed off her new slender appearance at the Burlesque: The Musical premiere in London in late July.
For the event, the comedian wore a gray blazer and black pants, both with New York-inspired graffiti artwork, over a black T-shirt with black boots and her signature glasses.
