Jennifer Lopez is being extra cautious after her ex-boyfriend Diddy was charged with some serious accusations.

Jennifer Lopez’s management team is being very cautious and has held urgent meetings to prepare for any situation involving her ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing criminal investigations.

Sources say Lopez’s team is considering whether she should talk about her past arrest with Combs. This happened on December 27, 1999, when they were arrested after a shooting outside a club in Times Square. Lopez spent 14 hours in jail because police found a gun in the car they were in when they tried to escape.

Although Lopez was released and not charged, Diddy and his bodyguard, Anthony “Wolf” Jones, were acquitted of the charges. However, rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow was found guilty of serious charges and served nine years in prison.

Natania, who still has bullet fragments in her face from a shooting years ago, believes Diddy was the one who fired the gun, and many people are calling for the case to be reopened. There’s a theory that rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow took the blame for Diddy.

In a recent $30 million lawsuit, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones claims Diddy bragged that Lopez brought a gun into the club and handed it to him after a fight. Lopez has never spoken about the shooting, but a source says her team is considering whether she should address it now that Diddy’s past is being looked at more closely.

The source also mentioned that Lopez’s mother is very concerned because she never liked her daughter’s relationship with Diddy. Lopez’s team is on alert for any drama as more people talk about the shooting. They had meetings this week to decide if and how Lopez should respond if the case brings up the past.

Since Lopez was there when the incident happened, many people in the industry are watching her closely.

Another source told DailyMail.com that Lopez’s team is working hard to ensure she isn’t caught off guard if she gets involved in Diddy’s legal issues.

“Everyone connected to Diddy will be under scrutiny, and Jen has people looking into everything,” the source said.

Lopez believes that whatever happens to Diddy won’t negatively affect her, but she’s determined to prevent any future problems.

A third source said Lopez is actually worried, which is why her team is getting ready with a plan.

“If they reopen this case, it would bring her back into a situation she’s been trying to forget for 25 years. She’s had a really tough year, and all of this with Diddy is just reopening old wounds,” the source explained.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Lopez’s representatives for a comment. Lopez has only shared a few details about her complicated two-year relationship with Diddy.

According to sources, JLo is ‘worried’ that the club shooting will be dragged back up

In March, Natania Reuben told NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas that Diddy, not Jamal Barrow, shot her.

“I literally watched them pull out the guns,” she said. “I had a clear view. I mean, for God’s sake—I got shot in my nose.”

Earlier this week, Natania’s mom shared her reaction to hearing about Diddy’s arrest. She said she “screamed out to God” when Natania told her.

“I said, ‘Are you kidding me, really?’ and she said, ‘Yes!’ I just screamed out to God, ‘Thank you, merciful father!'”

Diddy has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting people for prostitution, according to a federal indictment revealed in New York on Tuesday.

He was arrested on Monday in Manhattan, six months after federal agents raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami during a sex trafficking investigation.

Soon after Diddy was jailed, a clip from 2015 surfaced showing Lopez being asked on The Wendy Williams Show if she would consider getting back together with him. Lopez laughed and shook her head, but when the camera showed her mom, Guadalupe Rodriguez, in the audience, she looked very angry and shouted “no!” while making a “cut it” hand gesture to her daughter.
