Megyn Kelly called for the arrest of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton following new disclosures connected to the investigation of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.
Kelly’s remarks came in response to newly surfaced information contained in an annex to Special Counsel John Durham’s report, which she said further exposed the origins of the so-called Russiagate hoax.
During an episode of her program, Kelly said that Clinton and her associates should be held criminally accountable for allegedly orchestrating false allegations that President Donald Trump was acting as an agent of the Russian government.
These claims became the basis for years of investigations, media coverage, and political controversy.
“Can I just stop for a second? This woman should be in jail. Literally, Hillary Clinton should be behind bars and so should the people who work for her who did this,” Kelly said on her show, according to a post on her website.
“This is so blatantly corrupt. She wanted to distract from her email scandal. She cooked up a plan to accuse Trump of being a Russian agent in order to distract from her own legitimate scandal,” Kelly continued.
