I’m trying to find a time on the internet where a story went as ubiquitously viral as the Coldplay concert “affair” saga yesterday. It was so fast, so speedy of light before a funny video of chaos suddenly had two accused people in the firing line. To be fair, Chris Martin of Coldplay didn’t help the situation when he said “either they’re having an affair or they’re very, very shy” – launching a billion of the best memes ever in the process. I would hate to be the people involved in this, and I’m sure they’ve had one of the most stomach churning 24 hours imaginable becoming the biggest viral saga online right now. But I suppose you do have to give it up for Coldplay for not only finally doing something interesting, but for giving us a load of “affair” concert memes that have brought the world together in very turbulent times.
