Body Found in D4vd’s Impounded Tesla Identified as 15-Year-Old Girl Who Disappeared Last Year

Investigators have identified the body found in the trunk of an impounded car owned by singer D4vd as a teen who disappeared last year.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office said she was 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who was reported missin grom Lake Elsinore in early 2024, KABC reported. The cause of death was listed as “deferred,” which means the medical examiner has completed the autopsy but needs to conduct more tests.

KABC said that a house near where the Tesla was found abandoned was searched on Wednesday, and investigators removed a computer and other items. They did not say if or how the search was connected to the Tesla.

Neighbors told the station they remember seeing the car parked on the street for a while, first in front the house that was searched and then at other spots on the street.

The body was discovered on September 8 after a Hollywood tow yard, where the vehicle had been impounded, reported a foul odor, as CrimeOnline reported. The decomposing body was found inside a bag in the front trunk. She had been dead for “some time,” investigators said.

The Tesla was registered to singer D4vd, 20, — whose real name is David Anthony Burke — who was away on tour at the time the body was found His tour is planned to end in Los Angeles on September 20.
