A TikTok user recently posted a video that they claim shows Bigfoot, and it’s quickly gone viral. The video, taken by content creator @E_ManAlfaro in the Parallel Forest in Lawton, Oklahoma, has racked up over 1.2 million views. The person filming says they were out sightseeing when they spotted something unusual in the distance. In the 10-second clip, a furry, orange creature is seen leaning against a tree and smelling flowers.
The TikToker described it as the “scariest moment” of their life. Towards the end of the video, the creature looks up, prompting the videographer to gasp and say, “Oh, s–t!”
TikTok users were skeptical about the video showing Bigfoot. Some joked, with one person sarcastically saying, “It’s nice to see real footage of a real Bigfoot.” Others pointed out that the creature in the video looked just like the costume from the Jack Link’s beef jerky commercials. One commenter even suggested looking up the “Jack Links Adult Sasquatch Costume,” saying it looked identical.
The original poster stood by their claim, insisting it wasn’t a costume. In response to a joke about how Bigfoot is always blurry in pictures, the TikToker said that’s why they filmed it themselves, adding they were “terrified” while capturing the footage.
The outfit in the video might look like a cheap costume from a Halloween store, but it’s definitely clearer than the usual blurry footage people associate with Bigfoot sightings.
Back in August, some people on Reddit even claimed they spotted a Sasquatch running in the background of a 20-year-old nature documentary.
