According to TMZ, Busey has pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal sexual contact. As the publication noted, this comes out after the actor previously denied groping a victim at a horror convention three years prior.

The actor made the admission to Judge Gwendolyn Blue during a virtual court appearance. At the time, the actor shared that it wasn’t an accidental touch.

This comes out after the actor was accused of inappropriately touching a few female fans at Monster-Mania Con years prior. The event, which took place at the Doubletree Hotel in Camden, New Jersey, occurred in August 2022.

Busey could face one to five years of probation, in addition to some large fines. His sentence is scheduled for next month in a follow-up virtual hearing.

However, other charges against the actor have also been wiped. This, according to the publication, included “three more counts of criminal sexual contact and one attempted count.”

The virtual appearance was noted to have been conducted with a bit of tension. At one point, Busey was scolded for cracking open a can of soda during the proceedings.

Back in 2022, it was reported that cops were called to the New Jersey hotel after two women accused the actor of groping them during photo ops. One woman accused the actor of getting in her face and making a lewd comment about her chest, even claiming that he tried to unhook her bra. The other claimed he grabbed her butt.

The following day, a man contacted police, claiming that the actor also assaulted his daughter at the end. At the time, he also claimed he grabbed her butt as well.
