Baseball legend Pete Rose has passed away at the age of 83.

Former baseball player Pete Rose has sadly passed away at the age of 83. Known as “Charlie Hustle,” Pete died on Monday, September 30, at his home in Las Vegas, as confirmed by his agent to TMZ.

Details about his death are still limited, and the family has asked for privacy.

Pete had an incredible 24-season career in Major League Baseball (MLB) and still holds the record for the most hits, with 4,256. The closest anyone has come to breaking that record was Derek Jeter, with 3,465 hits, making Pete’s record likely to stand for a long time.

He mostly played for the Cincinnati Reds and later became the team’s manager. In 1989, he was banned from baseball due to accusations of betting on games.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Pete Rose’s family and friends during this difficult time. Rest in peace.
