Snoop Dogg's Daughter Cori Broadus Shares Her Baby Girl Is Home After 10-Month NICU Stay

Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus announced her baby girl has been released from the hospital after spending 10 months in the NICU following her early birth.

Snoop Dogg’s family has some news and it’s beautiful.

The rapper’s daughter Cori Broadus revealed that her daughter Codi—who was born last February when she was 25 weeks pregnant—has been released from the hospital after spending 10 months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) following her premature birth.

“She’s home,” the 26-year-old wrote alongside the Jan. 6 Instagram carousel that featured snaps of her and her baby girl in bed. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”

She also offered another glimpse at her daughter—whom she shares with fiancé Wayne Deuce—as she playfully ticked her while she laid beside her.

Cori—whose mom is Shante Broadus—announced Codi’s birth in February, sharing that she arrived six months into her pregnancy and reflecting on the emotional journey.

“I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed,” she wrote in the Feb. 28 Instagram post. “But no matter what God always shows me that I’m His Child!”

Codi’s health ultimately took a turn for the better as Cori shared and update on her “feisty” newborn eight months later.

“She’s so resilient and strong,” Cori told Us Weekly in an interview published Sept. 16. “She just has so much character.”

Further doting on her daughter, she added, “That girl is just a sweet little firecracker.”

As for Snoop, he credited Codi’s birth and improvement with her health as one of the highlights of his year.

“My granddaughter being born,” Snoop—who shares children Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28, with his wife of 28 years as well as son Julian, 27, from a previous relationship—told People in September. “My last granddaughter was born earlier this year. She was born premature and she’s doing very well now.”

The grandfather of 8—affectionally known as Papa Snoop—added, “So tiny C has probably been the best thing that happened to me this year.”
